“Is design for me?”

" A question that can shape a student’s future."

"For curious minds who want to turn creativity into a career.

We teach them to think, create and communicate.

Yes, we prepare students for NID, NIFT, UCEED, NATA and other design entrance exams.
But more importantly, we prepare them to approach problems like designers.

Because the future belongs not to those who know all the answers, but to those who can imagine better questions and create better solutions."

What does ACUBE actually help you become?

The journey of 'Becoming'.

From "I don't know",  to "I have an idea."

OBSERVE

Notice what others overlook.

IMAGINE

Generate possibilities.

THINK

Question, analyse and connect.

CREATE

Turn ideas into something others can understand.

"That's the foundation of design.

And that's where our preparation begins."

COMMUNICATE

An idea is only as powerful as your ability to express it.

REFLECT

Learn from what you creation & communication.

DON’T JUST DRAW. THINK.
"We teach students to see differently, think creatively and turn ideas into design."

The Acube Way

"We don't prepare students for a question."

"We prepare them for the unexpected."

COUNSELING

The journey begins with a series of counselling sessions involving the student and parents. These conversations help build a deeper understanding of the student’s interests, strengths, aspirations, and concerns—bringing clarity to the path ahead.

From career choices and creative aptitude to doubts, dilemmas, and expectations, a variety of questions are explored and addressed.

Because before we begin preparing for design, we first need to understand the designer within.

Counselling is the first step in the design journey.

DEMO

Before becoming an Acube student, we believe it is important for both the student and the parent to experience the studio firsthand.

The demo session offers a glimpse into Acube’s learning environment, teaching approach, studio culture, and way of thinking.

It allows the student to experience how we teach—not just what we teach—and understand what makes learning at Acube different.

Because choosing a design journey is not just about choosing a course.

It is about finding the right environment to grow in.

AARAMBH

This is where the real journey begins—a journey from “I’m confused” to “I’m confident.”

The course progresses through three carefully designed phases, each building on the one before it.

FOUNDATION PHASE

The foundation phase is about discovering how to think creatively.

Sessions focus on triggering creative and lateral thinking, encouraging reflection, learning through feedback, and developing the confidence to explore ideas.

Alongside this, students gradually build their hand skills and visual vocabulary through regular practice.

ADVANCED PHASE

As students progress, the level of challenge increases.

Sessions are designed to push students to think independently, generate ideas, solve design problems, and explore possibilities through practice.

The focus shifts from simply learning techniques to applying them with greater confidence and intent.

APTITUDE PHASE

The aptitude phase prepares students to look, understand, analyse, and respond.

Students gain exposure and practice in areas such as 3-D visualisation, 2-D to 3-D transformation, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, spatial understanding, and creative problem-solving.

Step by step, confusion gives way to clarity.

Practice builds skill.
Feedback builds understanding.
Challenges build confidence.

And slowly, “I don’t know” becomes “I can figure it out.”

EXPLORE . EXPOSURE . EXPERIENCE

Learning at Acube goes beyond the classroom.

At different points in the journey, students get opportunities to explore new concepts, ideas, perspectives, and possibilities.

They interact with design professionals, college representatives, industry experts, and Acube alumni who are now pursuing design in different fields and institutions.

These interactions give students a chance to ask questions, understand different career paths, and learn from the experiences of those who have already walked the journey.

Through these moments of exploration, students begin to discover what interests them, what inspires them, and where they see themselves in the world of design.

Because you cannot choose a path you haven't explored.

COLLABORATION

Design is rarely created in isolation.

At Acube, students get opportunities to work together, exchange ideas, solve problems, and learn from one another.

Through collaborative exercises, group projects, discussions, and design challenges, students experience how different perspectives can come together to create something new.

They learn to listen, contribute, question, adapt, give and receive feedback, and build on each other's ideas.

Because collaboration is not just about working together.

It is about learning to see what you couldn't see alone.

RIGOUR. REPEAT

Creative thinking needs to be supported by rigorous, targeted practice.

At this stage, students work with greater focus and intensity—solving papers, attempting timed exercises, revisiting concepts, identifying gaps, and repeatedly practising the areas that need improvement.

The emphasis is not simply on doing more.

It is on doing better, understanding mistakes, refining strategies, and building speed and accuracy through repetition.

Paper solving helps students become familiar with different question types, manage time, handle pressure, and develop the confidence to perform when it matters.

Rigor builds discipline.
Repetition builds mastery.
Practice builds confidence.

Because when the day of the exam arrives, confidence shouldn't come from hoping you're ready.

It should come from knowing you've practised for it.

Experiment . Explore . Rethink. Repeat

Mentors Who Mould-

Our mentors do more than teach.

They question, challenge, guide and encourage students to look at problems differently, learn from mistakes, and discover their own ways of thinking.

With experience, insight and continuous feedback, they help students transform curiosity into creativity, ideas into possibilities, and uncertainty into confidence.

Why I Started This

Over the years, I have met many students preparing for design entrance exams. I noticed that while they were working hard, many were still unsure of what they were preparing for—and why.

Some were focused on learning tricks to solve questions. Some were trying to predict what might appear in the exam. And many were simply looking for the “right” answer.

But design doesn't work that way.

Having spent years in the field of design myself, I felt that preparing a student only to clear an entrance exam was selling the journey short.

I wanted to create a space where students could slow down, explore, make mistakes, question things, receive feedback, work with others, and most importantly, learn how to think.

That thought became the foundation of Acube.

Because an entrance exam is only the door.
What matters is whether a student is ready for what lies beyond it.

Parents, you probably have Questions...!!
A Note to Parents

When your child says, “I want to pursue design,” it is natural for you to wonder—

Is this really a career? Is it more than just drawing? Which exam or college should we look at? Will it lead to a secure future? Is my child choosing this because they truly understand design—or simply because they enjoy being creative?

And when you begin searching, NID, NIFT, UCEED, NATA, colleges, courses and career options can make things even more confusing.

We understand. We’ve had these conversations with many parents.

You don't have to figure it all out on your own.

Talk to our counsellors. Share your questions, concerns and even your doubts. We’ll help you understand the possibilities and make sense of the journey.

And yes, this counselling is absolutely free.

Because sometimes, the first step towards making the right decision is simply having the right conversation.
